Gas Safe reg. 966617
What the law asks of landlords
Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, landlords must have every gas appliance, fitting and flue they provide checked every 12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- Get a gas safety check every 12 months
- Give existing tenants a copy of the record within 28 days of the check
- Give new tenants a copy before they move in
- Keep each record for at least two years
What we check
Our engineer checks each gas appliance, the pipework and the flues, tests that appliances are burning safely and ventilation is adequate, and records the results on your landlord gas safety record (often called a CP12).
If we find a problem, we explain it clearly and give you a price to put it right, so you can get it sorted quickly.

Our customers say it best
Nathan was an absolute legend, a real gem. Very polite and professional and went above and beyond helping us problem solve. He installed an Ariston water heater for us at our coffee shop and bar, Corner New Cross. He did a great job.
My combination boiler seized up so we contacted Bronze Heating. They instructed us what to do to make sure we were safe. The old boiler was removed and a new Worcester 2000 was installed first thing in the morning. I appreciate them so much as we've just had a newborn.
Had a great experience with Bronze Plumbing & Heating in West Dulwich. They installed an InSinkErator HC1100 boiling water tap in our kitchen and did an excellent job from start to finish.
